Conquer your Stress this Holiday Season

Welcome to the Stressful Season, oops I mean,  Holiday Season!

The stores are packed, holiday plans are being  made, parties are being organized AND

Moms' lives have just taken on a whole new level  of stress.

Are you a mom who has a love/hate relationship
with the holiday season?

The holidays hold so much promise, yet with all
this hope for joy and goodwill there is a lot of
STRESS

This stress comes from the multitude of
expectations on us from society, friends, peers
and ourselves to create the best experience for
our family and friends.

These expectations include:

    * paying for everything extra that is expected
at this time of year
    * buying everything for our kids from their
wish list
    * wanting to "show our love" through the gifts
we give
    * creating traditions that our children will
remember with fond memories
    * mending broken relationships
    * getting together with family (even though
some of them drive us nuts)
    * getting together with friends (how do we fit
it all in)
    * the list is endless and it causes alot of
STRESS for most people - especially MOMS

How do YOU manage your stress?

At this time of year my mom clients know they want
to do the holidays differently.

They struggle to find the time to "look after
themselves" with everything that they "need to do"
want to do" or "have to do" and ask

"What can I do to calm myself down?"

"I hate the way I feel but what can I do?"

The first and most important thing to do is to
BREATHE.

If you are part of my FREE teleseries

"Having it all" Secrets for Busy Moms

you received a gift of
a 1 ½ minute breathing meditation download .

You can listen to this often to help shift your body, mind
and emotions in the moment.

If you would like to receive this free gift, go to
"Having it all" Secrets for Busy Moms

This is my gift to you this holiday season.

Research shows that the breath is the most
underutilized tool we have to help us calm down.
It helps to slow down our nervous system and so we
develop a wider perspective on our current
situation.

The more we learn to take deep intentional breaths
to help us tune into the present moment, the more
we can create more calm.

Listen to this breathing tool as often as you can.
You may begin using it just once a day and slowly
work up to more frequently.  The more you use it
the more it becomes a habit.

I would love to hear what you notice when using
this tool and how you handle the stress of the
holiday season.

Much love,

Gerrianne
