Are you stuck or are you in the flow?

I am sure you can relate to being stuck. You know those days when you need to do something or try something but your motivation, energy and ability to do anything seems to be stuck in mud.
Everything feels hard to do and there is no joy.

In contrast there are days when you are on track, in the flow and totally inspired and on task to get everything done you need to get done. You are at in the zone!!
What is the difference between being stuck and being in the flow?

The answer lies within your body.

Think about it every event, every sensation, every emotion, every interaction in your life is experienced by your body and the memory of these experiences lies within the cells of your body.

When these experiences and memories are positive, the memory in your cells will be positive and healthy for your body.

However, when these experiences and memories are negative, the impact on your body is widespread.

Are you conscious of how negative energy is impacting your mental, emotional and physical health?

Do you notice any of these signs and symptoms?

You have more headaches, backaches, or fibromyalgia symptoms, you catch every cold and flu that is going around, your energy level is low or non-existent and you are not be sleeping well.

Your often feel foggy, uninspired and unable to problem solve or plan effectively for what to do next. You can’t seem to get things done because you jump from one thing to the next without completing anything.

Your emotions are near to the surface.  You find yourself snapping at others, being irritated and frustrated easily, withdrawing, hiding out or crying at the drop of a hat.

All of these signs and symptoms come from the accumulation of stress hormone in your body.

When you surround yourself by negativity and do not find ways to discharge the impact of this negativity on your body, you suffer.  You get stuck!!!

Whether this negative energy is in the company you keep, the food you consume, the environment you are in or simply your incessant, self abusive mind chatter you are impacted by this negative energy. The impact of this experience sits in your body until you find ways to shift the energy or discharge it from your body.

So what do you do? You have a life to live, people to interact with, kids to parent, traffic to drive in, you need to eat, make money and controlling the negativity in your environment is an impossible task.

This is absolutely true. You cannot control what happens in your outer world.

Managing your stress comes from controlling your responses to the chaos in the world around you.

I call this “Mastering your Inner game”.

Over the next couple of weeks I am going to be blogging about what YOU can do to master your inner game. Until then, start paying attention to the signs and symptoms you are feeling mentally, emotionally and physically that are letting you know that you are stuck, or in the flow?

What percentage of the time are you in that stuck energy?

What percentage of time are you in the flow?

Comment below and let’s get the conversation started about how stuck YOU feel and what YOU can do about it.

Much love,
Gerrianne
